What the hell is Mafiostuck?
I am so glad you asked! Mafiostuck is originally a Homestuck AU, but is now an open multi-verse, involving THE MOB! Two rival mobs to be exact, two rival mobs fighting it out in the glorious Midnight City. These mobs are known to the people of Midnight City as The Felt and The Midnight Crew. Let’s learn about these two factions shall we?
The Felt
The Felt is the oldest known mafia to Midnight City. It is said the leader of this well oiled murder machine is Lord English, with The Host as his second in command. The Felt comes from old money, and has been around for as long as most Midnight City residents know. They are rumored to have a monopoly of the entire Green Manor District, and have many member owned businesses. The Felt is the richer of the two gangs, and seems to have their roots dug deep in the world of Midnight City. They are well organized and run much like the many businesses they own. Each member has their own code name, given to them by The Host, second in command to Lord English. This allows each member to keep their mafia life secret and separate from their everyday living.
The Midnight Crew/The Crew
The Midnight Crew is a fairly new gang, having only been established for approximately four years now. It is run by The Ace, also known as Spades Slick. He is the only one within the group that holds a code name, and is the youngest out of the four people in charge. After a falling out with previous owners of Club Derse, Spades Slick and his three most loyal co-workers founded The Four Aces, a small bar in The Suits District of Midnight City which became the base for the Crew. The Midnight Crew quickly gained a following, being the only opposing gang from The Felt that didn’t crumble right off the bat from Felt opposition. The working class of Midnight City found comfort with The Crew, and it grew vastly in size within only a few years time because of this. They may not be as organized as The Felt, but what they lack in organization they make up for with numbers.
Both of these groups take home in Midnight City in present day North America. It’s a large city that’s broken up into four districts.
There's a small storyline that follows this world. Lord English is dying! He has fallen terminally ill, and it is about time for an heir or heiress to step up! Until then The Host has formally taken charge of The Felt. The twins waiting in line for the English throne are Caliborn and Calliope, however, knowing her brother's merciless ways, Calliope has gone into hiding. Caliborn is dead set on finding and killing his sister, but until there's only one twin left The Host will remain in charge. Before this happens however, The Midnight Crew hopes to topple The Felt completely, and keep the reign of Lord English from continuing. What will happen first?!
